This week we are teaming up with our friends at Mondo once again to release a brand new poster for Michealngelo Antonioni’s ‘Red Desert’ by the excellent Katherine Lam.

‘Red Desert’ is Antonioni’s first colour film, and rather than showing us the stereotypical sunny, happy Italy we’d expect, the director takes us to a bleak, industrial town for a masterful, and at times oppressive study of modernity and alienation.

And it is this bleak industrial landscape that Katherine Lam has placed front and center in her poster, made beautiful by her innate elegance and deft use of colour.

‘Red Desert’ by Katherine Lam will go on sale tomorrow Tuesday 20 October at 5pm UK time from the Black Dragon Press shop and from Mondo for our North American friends.
